You created your own little republic Kadebostan, where does this idea come from?
Kadebostany: I thought there were too many bands and I’ve started to search for a way to stand out from the mass. This idea came to me like thunder strike, all the concept with the uniform, the communication process, the aesthetic etc…
Your first album had its release date in 2011, now 2017 there will be the second album. What can we expect and has the process of making an album changed through the years?
Kadebostany: Monumental is actually the third album. My wish is to create sophisticated music for the masses. The process has not changed much over the years, it’s still me composing music and collaborating with various singers.
In your songs there is a mix of singing and rapping, where do you find your inspirations?
Kadebostany: Life is my best muse. Luckily I have all this melodies coming from my mind quite naturally. I have the ability to turn these abstract ideas into songs.
You are the creative mind behind Kadebostany, do you start with the melody or do the lyrics come first?
Kadebostany: I put myself in a state of mind where I’m very open to my feelings. It’s not about lyrics or melody but mood and atmosphere that lead to create something magical.
Do you came out of a musically family or how did you get into music?
Kadebostany: I had the great chance to find myself at very young age. I knew my life would be dedicated to music and creativity in general.
You played lots of big festivals. What do you like the most about live shows and do you have a certain special memory of one of your shows?
Kadebostany: I like the supernatural aspect of a live performance. I like to feel that all together with the band, we become Superheroes. Kadebostany shows are so special in a way that we made it spectacular and theatrical. We are using musical and visual elements and technics that doesn’t necessary belongs to the “Pop music scene”.
Your version of “Crazy In Love” is amazing, it got on the ’50 Shades of Gray‘ soundtrack. How did this cooperation happen?
Kadebostany: It’s great to see that even if you come from a little country (The Republic of Kadebostany), you can achieve big things and compete with the biggest artists in the world.
After The Avener and other artists, is there someone you would like to work with? If so, who?
Kadebostany: I want to work with the greatest artist, the one that has something to say, the one that are creating timeless pieces of art.
You compose and even produce your songs by your own. Are you also involved in creating the concepts for your music videos?
Kadebostany: I’m involved in all the creative parts of Kadebostany. Of course my entourage is made of great artists that I respect a lot, but I would say that it all starts with my artistic vision.
